Project Overview
iPass is a high-accuracy OCR SaaS platform for the MENA region, capable of processing printed and handwritten multilingual documents including Arabic, English, and French—delivered as a secure API.
The Challenge
MENA organisations in banking, healthcare, and government handle enormous volumes of physical documents. Manual data entry is slow, error-prone, and expensive. Existing OCR tools performed poorly on Arabic handwriting and mixed-language documents.
Our Solution
We integrated Google Cloud Vision API with custom image enhancement pre-processing pipelines to significantly improve accuracy on degraded or handwritten documents. Custom auto-correction logic handles critical data fields like ID numbers, dates, and amounts. The entire system is delivered as a secure, rate-limited SaaS REST API.

iPass achieved 94% accuracy on handwritten Arabic documents and 99%+ on printed text, enabling clients to process documents 15x faster than manual entry with a 0.3% error rate on critical fields.
